Psalm 23
Chosen Bible Reading Plan Season 1, Week 1, Day 2
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley, a
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

Command to Obey: --
Sin to Avoid: --
Promise to Claim: God refreshes my soul and guides me along the right paths
Application to Make: Trust God! As I graduate from seminary, if I am focused on and walking with God, I can trust that I will be led along the right path and my family and I will arrive where we are supposed to be.
Something New About God: God guides me for his name's sake. As I live for Christ, as I work to advance the Kingdom of God, God is guiding me.
Reflection: God's goodness and love is with me now and it will be with me as I transition this summer. God is guiding me along the right path and refreshing my soul. I must spend time with God every morning to be refreshed, to be guided. I must make God my first priority through prayer, bible reading and bible journaling. That way I will start the day on a firm foundation, refreshed and headed in the right direction.
