Psalm 3: Great Smoky Mountains National Park
1 Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2 Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”
3 But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
4 I call out to the Lord,
and he answers me from his holy mountain.
5 I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
7 Arise, Lord!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8 From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.

Something New About God: God sustains me.
Reflection: Sleeping at home is routine, here I think about it more = who gets to sleep in the hammock? Where is the flashlight? In all things God sustains me, including every night's sleep. Tomorrow I will wake again, and when I die, I will rise again at the resurrection, because my faith is in Jesus Christ.
Great Smoky Mountains: I'm writing this in the C loop of Cades Cove Campground in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I haven't seen anything yet, last night we arrived after the visitor center closed and just settled into our campsite. The stars were great last night and this morning I can hear the cicadas. Strangely, there are no bear boxes although they have a ton of black bear here. The only water points are at the bathrooms. Tonight I will try to see the syncronized fire flies out in the cades cove fidld. Also, there is a trailhead 50 meters from my campsite I'm excited about.
